Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using RugGenerator, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old to use RugGenerator. By accepting these terms, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by notice on the platform. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password or allow others to access your account.

If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us immediately at support@ruggenerator.com.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

3. Acceptable use

You may use RugGenerator only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

Upload or generate content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account.

Use the platform to develop a competing service or to systematically extract data from it.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Your content

Designs, files, and content you create on RugGenerator belong to you.

When you publish a design to the marketplace, you grant RugGenerator the right to display and distribute it in accordance with the license type you selected. You retain ownership.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you upload or use as a design input. You agree to indemnify RugGenerator against claims arising from your content.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change plan pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes do not apply to the current billing period.

6. Marketplace

The marketplace connects designers and buyers. RugGenerator facilitates transactions but is not a party to them.

Designers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. Buyers receive the license stated on the listing at the time of purchase.

RugGenerator collects a platform fee on marketplace transactions. Current fee rates are published on the pricing page.

7. Production

Production orders connect you with verified manufacturers. Manufacturers are independent businesses. RugGenerator facilitates the connection and holds payment during production but does not guarantee production outcomes.

Payment is released to the manufacturer upon your approval of the completed order. RugGenerator collects a platform fee on production orders.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RugGenerator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to RugGenerator in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware.

Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property claims. You waive any right to participate in class action proceedings.
